I had always thought that I was going to pursue cosmetology after my high school graduation two years ago. However, no doors opened in that area. Meanwhile, the Lord began throwing the doors wide open for opportunities for me to pursue my hobby of photography all last year. Eventually, in the fall of last year, the Lord made it very clear to me that photography was what He wanted me to pursue, not cosmetology. He even provided an affordable school for me to get my education from! So, I began my training in professional photography with the New York Institute of Photography in Jan. 2010. I had been hoping that photo shoots would come pouring in, but they didn't. Instead, it seemed kind of dead. So at the end of March, I had been complaining that I wasn't getting any photo shoots to practice what I was learning in school. It was very discouraging, because I had been so sure it's what God had called me to do, yet, I wasn't getting any clients! The very next day, I received an email from Karen asking me to do a photo shoot with her and her boyfriend, Jesse!!!! Wow, is all I could say! Look at the goodness and faithfulness of God!!!!!
