Overnight Trip to South Carolina

This past Friday and Saturday, I was once again privileged to travel with Ben's family to SC for Brooke's (his cousin) senior recital at Bob Jones University. It was so pretty-and HOT-, with all the spring flowers, but now I'm paying for it all with a lovely cold! Brooke performed beautifully, and once again, I had a great time with Ben and his family!

Me and Ben waiting to go in to the building for Brooke's recital.

After the recital, we all went to eat at High Cotton. It was this SUPER NICE restaurant! This is the "young couples table!" Ben and I sat here with his cousin, Kim, and her boyfriend, Amos, eating duck and salmon!

Me and Ben all full with salad, mashed potatoes, grits, and salmon, and very happy!

High Cotton was basically a river front restaurant, so after dinner, we all walked in the park along the river. This was a sign at the park's entrance, and it was Ben's idea to have Michael stand here and make a face!

On Saturday, we went to downtown Greenville and just walked around. I took some pictures of the scenery and other objects that fascinated me!

The waterfall under the bridge at the park we were at Friday night.

I don't know what this duck was doing, but it had it's head completely twisted around and tucked into its body! Ben and I thought that it was funny, so I took a picture of it!

A random clock in downtown Greenville that I found fascinating as we walked along.

Notice the "No Skateboarding" sign in the upper left hand corner!? Ben and his brothers decided to do it anyway! :)
The Burkholder Family...plus Amos! :)

The Channell Family.....plus me! :)
